Create your profile with photo. Update it as much as you can. Informative profiles with a photo attract more visitors than profiles without a photo and adequate data.

Show off by sharing photos and videos. What’s more fun than creating a photo album for yourself and having a collection of your favourite videos just like Youtube. You can import photos easily from your flickr account or your computer. You can let others comment on and rate your photos. Welcome to photo & video blogging in UR! You can also create a slideshow of your pictures in your profile.

Start connecting through groups / Communities. Search for your friends. Make new friends. Kick-start your own groups and invite your friends by email. Tip: Avoid creating groups on themes which exist already. Tip: Hate receiving email notifications? You can choose when to and when not to get email notifications. Go to "My profile settings".

Make study partners and organize group discussions. You can announce a date and time for discussion and invite others. Or let us know, we can announce that in the main page.

You can blog as and when you like. Use it as your diary. It will show up in your profile as well as the main page. You can keep it private or share it with others.

You have a box in your profile where you can add photos, videos, text or HTML stuff. You also have a separate Gadget box where you can insert any widgets. You can choose from a whole bunch of widgets eg. Youtube, music players, Games, etc. Tip: A gadget which is connected to a slow server can increase your profile page-loading time.
